Mr. Wetsel was born in Mangum, Oklahoma. He grew up on a farm near Mangum. He graduated from Mangum High School in 1975. From 1975 through 1980, Mr. Wetsel attended Oklahoma Christian College where he obtained two Bachelor of Science Degrees; one in Marketing and one in psychology. He worked in the family farm implement business for one year. Then, from 1981 to 1983, Mr. Wetsel worked in the oil business. In 1983, Mr. Wetsel enrolled in the University of Oklahoma College of Law, and he graduated with a Juris Doctorate Degree in 1986. He passed the Oklahoma bar exam in 1986 and has practiced in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area since that time. Currently, Mr. Wetsel’s law office is located in Edmond, Oklahoma. Mr. Wetsel practices in the areas of business and commercial law (transaction and litigation); real estate; construction law; and oil and gas title work. As a hobby, he builds flying model rockets.
